He passed away from pancreatic cancer in 2012.

He dislocated his pinky in his first game and pulled it back into place by himself on the field.
He later became an agent.
Happy 1990s Birthday to Scott Aldred, who mde his debut with the Tigers in 1990 and pitcvhed in the bigs until 2000, both out of the pen and the rotation.
He later became a minor-league pitching coach.
