Andy Benes decides not to re-sign with the Cardinals and asks the players’ association to withdraw the grievance it filed to validate his five-year, $30 million contract.
Benes had inked a deal, but it came after the December 7th deadline for free agents to re-sign with their former teams.
Benes signs with the Diamondbacks in February.
