Happy 1990s Birthday to Alvin Morman, who was a 39th round draft pick and spent parts of four seasons in the bigs with four teams.
Happy 1990s Birthday to Dan Naulty, who went 5-5 for the Twins and Yankees between 1996 and 1999. He was a member of the 1999 World Series Champion Yankees, but did not appear in the series.
Happy 1990s Birthday to Eric Moody, who went 0-1 for the Rangers in 1997, his only major league action.
Happy 1990s Birthday to Marlon Anderson, who was a 2nd round draft pick of the Phillies and spent 12 years in the bigs. He hit a pinch-hit homer in his first big-league at-bat.

Niekro pitched for 24 years and won 318 games.

The Rockies skipper earned Manager of the Year honors in 1995 after leading to team to their first playoff appearance.
