The Calgary Cannons hit three grand slams in a 22-7 win over the Tacoma Tigers.
Dave Cochrane, Chuck Jackson, and Alonzo Powell all hit slams for Calgary while Tacoma’s Clay Parker takes on for the team, giving up 13 runs in and inning and a third.

After Wally Joyner’s 5th-inning homer, a frustrated Jesse Barfield retrieves the ball and chucks out completely out of Yankee Stadium.
“It was a culmination of me not doing to job offensively and them doing the job of kicking our butt,” he says. The ball lands on a subway platform and no one is injured.
The Angels win the game 7-0.
